History.


Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley godwin was born in london, in the year of 1797 and died in 1851
just leaving a son and several published works, however, she is usually reminded by an only
work of great success entitled: Frankenstein.


Mary Shelley was daughter of Mary Wollstonecraft and of the journalist, writer and theoretical anarchist Willian Godwin.
Mary published your first poem to the ten years of age and the sixteen, she ran away from home to live with a famous romantic poet, only five years older.
When Mary Shelley wrote frankenstein, in 1818, she was 21 years old.
In 1822, after the death of your husband, Mary went back to England and she was devoted to
publish the works of your husband, without however to leave of writing.
